Born on April 10, 1993, in Queens, New York, Cleidy Gomez is a dedicated public servant with a strong academic and professional background. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from NYU and went on to receive a P.H.D. in Law from Harvard University. Currently working as a lawyer, Cleidy has built her career on justice, advocacy, and service to her community. Of Dominican and Honduran heritage, she draws inspiration from her roots and the values of perseverance and unity. Though her family is deceased, their influence continues to guide her commitment to fairness and equality. Before running for mayor, Cleidy gained valuable experience as a political assistant, preparing her to take on greater leadership and responsibility.
Cleidy Gomez’s role is to serve and represent her community, making sure everyone’s voice is heard and respected. As mayor, she wants to create safer neighborhoods, improve education and job opportunities, and make local government more fair and open. She also wants to fight for women’s rights and equality, ensuring that women have the same chances to lead, succeed, and be heard. Cleidy is running for mayor because she believes in justice, unity, and empowering every person.
